Photo I took of my niece a year ago when I was learning how to use a DSLR camera. She was a great model because my photo instructor told me to go shoot some portraitures and make sure the subjects did not smile. "We want raw emotion, not prom pictures". OK - my niece said she could do raw.....her mom cringed because she had not heard the whole conversation. See what happens when you try to eavesdrop half heartedly? :)

So thus, off we went into the back yard and got RAW. The fact that my niece had braces at the time made it extra easy for her to conceal a smile. But she is a stunning gal so I was happy.

I'll be seeing her at Christmas soon and told her to polish up on her raw emotional look and attitude for good 'ol Auntie Jennifer to click some shots.

I gussied up the ornaments and evergreens with some glitter and stickles and also used some Lumiere gold paint around the LO, but it is not all that apparent here.
I also have to credit StarSailorScrapper Lisa Gregory for the tutorial on circle punching a circle.
