Journaling: Thhis day at the lake was a truly perfect day. We got out the kayaks, made lunch, and met up with Uncle Scott and Aunt Kristy and Baby Eli. Kristy and I watched from the shore as you boys set out. Then we all ate before the moms took you for a spin. Dad and you threw rocks off the dock and I took a million pictures. You were very content to throw rocks in the pond and look out at the beautiful water for a long time. Kristy, Eli and I just relaxed in the chairs with the warm sunshine and the light breeze blowing on us. Soon, we left the heat and the busy lake behind. It was a really perfect day.
