The challenge was to create a lo with the color white and one other color; use a photo that was spring or summer related. I printed the pic on watercolor paper and distressed the edges to add additional interest on the l/o. I cut the little owl out of white cardstock and added some trim from a past Swirlydoo kit to add a little texture to the birds torso. There is also use of embossing paste and a snowflake stencil on the upper page. The title of my l/o reads on the second horizontal strip but can't be seen well because of the silver ink pen. It reads: "...gone away is the blue bird, here to stay is a new bird..."The picture of the l/o doesn't project all the silver sparkle on the scroll work, owls perch and snowflakes.
