I think it must be a common quirk, it's one I share too, only with me it's the satin binding. I still have to look for a new blanket with a sating binding every so often, when the old one wears out. Gave up the thumb sucking as a little girl, but at 36 still have the "blankie". Very cute LO, and cool idea to journal about!
Oh I love the swirls!! And, ... can I tell you a little secret?? ....

I have the same quirk!!!! LOL! Really I do! Ever since I was a little tiny girl I loved doing that exact same thing!
Hummmm... interesting: "Quirk #28"? How cute!!! Love the story! When my son was little he had a baby blanket that he did the same thing every night to the edge!
This is my third and final entry into the 20k contest.

Journaling reads: For as long as I can remember I have done it. Each night when I slip into bed my hand automatically reaches up and slides the soft edge of my pillow case between my fingers. Back and forth the material runs across my sensitive skin, soothing me until I fall asleep. It’s crazy but true. I don’t know how or why this nightly ritual began but I swear I can’t sleep without doing it. Something about that small edge of material just seems to calm me after whatever the day has brought my way. Call it silly, call it cute, it is simply one of those crazy quirks that makes me who I am.
