This is a photo of my dear friends Marilyn and Ruby. Marilyn is a second mother to me. She's actually my best friend Dusti's mom and she is a huge bonus to our friendship. Marilyn and Ruby started out as neighbors and have been best friends for over 30 years. They are a true inspiration to me in their loyalty and love for each other. Beautiful kindred spirits.
I did some paper piecing on this with the framework behind the photo. I cut a half circle pattern out of some beautiful paper from the Anna Griffin Isabelle Collection. I also used an awesome die cut by K&Company and my favorite Lyrical Letters Cricut cartridge.
