I did this lo for the December - Winter Holidays Challenge. This is a pic of my 2 ds's decorating gingerbread cookies (aka eating the decorations that were supposed to be going on the gingerbread cookies).

For the frames, I found a frame that I liked the shape of and I used it as a template to cut the dark brown cs. I inked the edges of the dark brown frame with black ink, then I adhered the dark brown frames to a piece of brown cs and trimmed around to create a matting for the dark brown. For the dots, I put puddle of cream paint onto a plate and used the tip of my embossing stylus dipped into the paint and used that to make the dots. I got the different size dots by dotting a few times before redipping into the paint puddle. I sewed buttons to each corner of the frame..using a different color of floss for each button. I used Souffle pens to write the names on the frames and adhered the metal flourishes and snowflakes with a mini brad. (The flourishes and snowflakes were from acharmingplace.com and I altered them with copper alcohol ink. The pics were adhered to the frames.

The dark brown cs for the background was cut down by about a 1/4 inch on all sides and was adhered to a piece of pp. I used the same technique for making the dots, but used a larger stylus and I used the stylus to draw the little corner decorations.

I cut the bottom border from an old piece of pp and used inks to alter the colors..turning the green blocks to more of a teal and the red border to a purple and changing the hearts and scarves on the gingerbread men. I used the Souffle pens to change the color of the heart in the squares. I punched small dots from a scrap of the cs and added those to the green squares and I covered the printed button on the gingerbread men with a real button, sewn with dark brown floss. I adhered the border to the background cs, then adhered brown mini rickrack around the page. I used sticker mini alphas and large cs diecut alphas for the title. I punched more of the dots from the cs and added those to the decut letters. I traced around the mini alphas with a gray Souffle pen. I used sticker mini alphas to add the subtitle to the page ("cookie decorating!??), then adhered the framed pics to the page. I used 2 lables, turned on end, to add the location and year.
