For the last 3 ½ years, Annabella has been a Mommy’s girl, but lately, she has been showing Daddy the love. She gets so excited now when she hears the door open and Daddy is home. She constantly runs back to daddy’s office while he is working to say hi to him. Last week, she asked daddy to take her somewhere and told me I could stay home. I thought it was so special that she wanted to spend time with daddy, just the two of them. It is so cute to see her climb up on the couch and sit beside Daddy. They have their own secret language that I don’t understand, but I am not sure that they do either. They make goofy noises back and forth. Annabella will now ask Daddy to sit by her and this is usually followed by Mommy, could you please move? Previously, she always said mommy and hold me, mommy, and it has changed to daddy and I want Daddy to hold me. While I am a little sad that she doesn’t always choose me now, A Little girl’s first love is her daddy.
