This idea came from Memory Makers Quilted Scrapbooks. I cut squares of red & blue gingham & then cut them diagonally to form the triangles. I arranged the triangles to make the star shape. A red square was added to the middle of the star that helped to accent the journaling. Once the measuring was complete the layout was quick and easy to do.
