This layout is fabulous Sandi...perfectly grungey...I love all the embellies you included! Great action shots even though it is not your thing...I agree it is a male thing and I can never understand why they spend so much time getting their cars ready to just smash them up again...lol!!
Awesome story, Sandi! I think that a great accomplishment for the boys! Yes, I also think it's a "male' thing - LOL!! Love that you scrapped this cool memory; very cool layout! Congrats, guys!!!!!!!
Gosh, can't say I'd like my son to get into that "sport" ha ha! Must be really nervewracking to watch. Yep, boys will be boys! lol! This is a fantastic "guy" page, Sandi! Really love the grungy elements and the manly colour palette! Cool how you used that mesh and added some metal embellies. AWESOME!
Super cool and super manly! Love the texture-- reminds me of a piece of blown out tire! My son and nephews have done the demo derbys at the DE State Fair for years--- I have to do a lot of extra cooking during "derby season" to feed all of those boys while they tirelessly work on their cars.
Happy New Year Everyone!!!!Every year at our festival there is a demolition derby...I hate them. I just don't understand the concept of putting a bunch of cars in a pit so they can drive like lunatics and smash into each other...must be a male thing! So when my son and his best friend turned 17, they decided they were entering. They spent months working at their cars and loved every minute. If they only knew how many times I wished their cars would not work! They both made it to the final round and were the last 2 cars going, so they were forced to hit each other. When they did, both cars died and they tied, so they were both winners.
