I like the brown and blue together. I think you did a great job with the balance of all of your elements. I think the extra colors in the lettering and the heart pop out nicely, to give the page a feeling of activity--which I think is great to have considering he is a young and active person himself. Any constructive criticism I might add (I understand your desire to better yourself--I feel the same way) would be, I question a flower being above a BOYs head--the balance is great, but perhaps a more masculine element might make more sense. Being a boy that plays football, it might make him secretly uncomfortable? Just a thought. Other than that, I'm commenting because I LOVE your layout! I am very much drawn to it above others I've seen so far! Great work! With Love--Lisa.
