Journaling: This was our first Christmas at our new church, and we attended the candlelight service on Christmas Eve. It was called Night of 1000 Candles, and Don was asked to be a greeter. We arrived early as requested, and I was amazed at how full the sanctuary already was. We sat with Marc, Karen, Katie, and Sam. The munchkins were very well behaved during the service, and Sam could hardly wait until we started passing the light from one candle to the next. That’s his all-time favorite part. It was a wonderful way to spend Christmas Eve. 12.24.10
