It really wasn't supposed to happen like this. She was in the tub washing stamping ink off...Only it wasn't coming off..."Kendra, I'm sorry, it looks like it is permanent ink."
Her eyes got bigger, "It's PERMANENT?" I answered her calmly. "It's okay, it will come off when your skin comes off."
"MY SKIN IS COMING OFF?" She is now shrieking and I calmly explain that her skin comes off all of the time to make room for new skin.... Needless to say, it wasn't long before a towel wrapped child was racing out of the bathroom screaming for Daddy!
