It was just the 4 of us at home for Thanksgiving this year. We had a laid back time watching the parade and dog show. We always root for the dachshund. We get a deep fried cajun spice turkey each year, and it was delicious. The boys like me to make a snack table for them to munch all day, so I did while we watched the parade, the dog show, and the punkin' chunkin' on tv and visited and snuggled our dogs and cats... I used paper plates, and I didn't even make them dress up. My college son didn't even shave, mostly 'cause he knew I wanted him to, which made me a little ticked, but hey, that's just him right now... c'est la vie!

I have some color blocking templates coming in the mail, but I wanted to photo collage this one, so I just eyeballed it. I am not a precision scrapper, so all you perfectly straight OCD people, don't look! LOL Thanks to my bff for the sweet Thanksgiving card, I cut the sentiment and used it, and for the sunflower basket sticker too. I used a few ribbon scraps, a cm scrap from a recent blue cat layout, some brown DCWV fall paper my bff and I bought in Dallas and split because the pad was huge. Got the idea to make the photo corners from the blue scraps from cutting the edges of the blue matting on the tag... I used all that scrap of blue up... Wish I could remember to use more scraps... gotta clean my scrap bucket out again and donate to the elementary school art teacher.
