My best fried Gia has been running with the Polar Bears since 2001 when she saw an I Love New York documentary on PBS. I have managed to escape attending but this year with the air temps being 45 degrees and an extreme need for original scrapbook subjects I decided to attend. I was surprised when Dave agreed to do it and TOTALLY impressed when he went full monty and dunked himself under the 29 degree water. Who knew he was so friggin' cool??? I got my feet wet trying to shoot the event- that was a MAJOR sacrifice trust me.
