What a fantastic page! I love the way you put it together, especially the background paper. It reinforces the pictures without upstaging them. You are lucky to have them for your daughter.
What a powerful layout! I love the background paper and the collage behind the smaller photo. You really captured history in this wonderful layout.

Journaling says:September 7th,1940 for 57 consecutive nights London was bombed.Hilter strived to break the morale of the British people,so Churchill would be pressured into negotiating. The opposite effect happened as the people pulled together to face the enemy. Many lives were lost fighting the firesas were great historic buildings.Sharly`s great grandfather Robert Miller is in the photo to the right.Oh to know what he felt as he stood there so long ago.War was never a topic of conversation with him as with most veterns. From looking at other old photographs we assume the building in back of him and unknown solider, must be Wets Minister Abbey.true heroes in evry sense of the word. Forgot to include this up above! Thanks for looking!,Kim
This was a photo my Grandfather took when he was overseas serving in the Canadian army in London. He had a friend take his picture and we don`t know who is with him. From looking at old pictures we feel its West Minister Abbey behind them.
