As many of you may know, I exchange postcards with people from around the world. This time I decided to create a scrapbook page about postcards from South Africa. I created the large soccer ball from black and white cardstock paper. The soccer ball used for the dot on the letter "I" is a sticker from the dollar store, and the shirt and shoes came from there too.

Here is what the info located in the top right hand corner reads.

•In 2010, South Africa hosted the FIFA World Cup. Spain won the tournament by defeating Netherlands 1 to 0.

•Actor Arnold Vosloo who played the role of Zartan in the live action movie “G.I. Joe” is from Pretoria, South Africa.

•The ISO Code for South Africa is “ZA” which is taken from the Dutch name “Zuid-Afrika”.

•The large postcard shows “Table Mountain”. It's a flat-topped mountain that overlooks the city of Cape Town.
