This gave me goosebumps! What an amazingly beautiful lo of your dear mom. My mom passed almost 6 yrs ago & I have only done 1 layout of her - I'm just not there yet. I'm so glad this was therapeutic for you - these are such great little journal squares. FAVE for me!
Thanks for all your kind comments. This was one of my first layouts I did when I started 5 years ago. I got this idea from a scrapbook book. I cried buckets of tears at first but it was such a healing process. That's why I got hooked on this hobby because not only are you preserving memories it can be very therapeutic.
Oh this is so sweet. i have this simular LO in one of my scrapbook books but I have never seen a LO done on SB. i love the idea and you did an awesome job on this. Love how you have your moms voice in the corner. I lost my Mom 10 years ago this coming November and it still is hard. I miss her very much. Love it.....
I love this concept. After reading all your journaling I applied it to my own dearly departed father just 4 years ago. This was a wonderful way to deal with your loss. Well done.
I did this page after my mom died and it helpd me thru the grieving process. When you press the angel button you can hear a recording of my Mom's voice. Behind her picture is a booklet with the text from her eulogy.
