A quiet moment

Journaling reads:

Some people think children are always loud.
Maybe they are, while in a crowd.
Constant activity, perpetual noise --
Yelling, running, and banging toys.

But just like adults, children have quiet moments, too;
Even ones as young as two.

We all have something we do to unwind;
To take a break from activity, recharge the mind.

So what do you do when you're all worn out?
Where do you go? What do you think about?

You lie down with the beloved Ducky;
His yellow feathers are so soft and so cuddly.
And your little delicate fingers twirl your hair
As I try to decipher that thoughtful stare.

What do you think about? Where does your mind go?
One can only guess, and maybe I'll never know.
