This is my DGG, Grace. Very spirited and full of vim and vigor. Sorry the word FAITH on the ribbon buckle did not show up. The journaling reads:
Although we’d all love to keep our children and grandchildren young to enjoy the giddiness and joy toddlers, children and young adults bring us and to protect them from the “outside” world, the adult world which they will be experiencing sooner than we think, we must have FAITH that they will be taken care of and protected by God. All we can do is give them moral guidance, the rules of “life”, the Ten Commandments, and be the wind beneath their wings so when the time comes they will FLY like butterflies into the mature world confidently and independently with their heads held high.
It's human nature as parents and grandparents to worry sometimes about the future of our children. Only FAITH will get us through.
