It has been a long road to this moment. As time has progressed you have come to express your affection for your relatives more openly. Seeing you here with your grandpa, my dad really gives me a sense of joy.Your grandpa is quiet and hard working. He’s not one to complain he just gets the job done. He has a quirky and sometimes sick sense of humor- I’m sure you will come to appreciate it over time; as well as a lifetime of experience- most of which he won’t be able to share with you. But when he does start to talk it’s is good idea to listen. It is in those moments that you will appreciate what he has accomplished and how his decisions have helped make you the person you are. Growing up I never fully appreciated the work and the sacrifice that your grandpa made for his family. I hope that you will see that it is the day to day choices that make us who we are, not the grand moments, not the big gestures, but the tiny unnoticed decisions that shape our world.
