i am soooooo behind on my monthly challenges with charla, but here is my ali edwards inspired page. tfl! journaling reads: There is nothing that brings me more joy than Maasai and her toothless smile. It reminds me what childhood is about and prompts memories of my own carefree upbringing. I really have been blessed with a happy child. Some days are better than others, but there is not a day that has gone by, since she was 7 days old, that she has not smiled.
Maasai could smile about anything. An empty box that becomes her imaginary desk will do it; getting her nails polished in pink and purple shimmers; a new dress...heck...any dress; a chance to tie shoelaces; passing a reading quiz; her classmate Vincent and his wild antics; art classes with Daddy; a new tooth popping out (although this could also make her cry); and hugs from Mommy all do it, too. I am blessed with a happy child. She knows how to keep a grin on her face, and I love to see it just because.
