

At first glance, this page might seem to be about her eyes...and it is, sort of. But, the layout is more about the memory of a discussion her daddy and I had before she was born. I left the photo toned, without showing her eye color to enforce this point. I chose the papers (blues and greens) to show the correlation between his green eyes, and her blue ones.
Journaling:
I remember wondering what my baby would look like. I remember talking to your daddy about it, and we'd laugh and say "I hope she gets your hair" or "I hope she's tall like you" or "I hope she has your eyes". Your daddy has beautiful green eyes. They are big and surrounded by a dark fringe of long eyelashes. He can't see worth a flip though. So, I would say "I hope she gets your eyes, but my vision." Well, honey, you got Daddy's eyes (and his vision), but your eyes are blue. They are striking, beautiful, and "bluer than blue"
