This is what I think of when I see Australia...

When I was at a scrap retreat in October last year, I stayed at a friends little farm, it's just perfect. Cattle, Sheep and even a Kelpie... to me this was the Australia I grew up with - lovely farms, rolling hills - I missed it so much when we moved to the west. Even though I love WA and Perth now with it's extremes and we have stunning beauty here as well, being back in NSW was like coming home - just wish I could have shared it with my boys, one day I will!!

So anyways... it's a simple LO that I felt didn't need much embellishing.

I have used Pink Paislee Parisian Anthology papers and inked them with Tim Holtz Distress Inks in Crushed Olive, Shabby Shutters and Frayed Burlap.

The Dusty Attic Tree {my FAVE}, has been inked with the same inks, splodged with a touch of Adirondack Terracotta, Willow and White Paint Dabbers, sprayed with White Chalkboard Glimmermist and then sealed with HayRide GlimmerGlam. Delish hey!

The Dusty Attic Picket Fence was inked with Frayed Burlap Ink, splodged with some Adirondack Terracotta, then coated with Picket Fence Distress Crackle paint and left to dry. My paint is a little thin so it's given fine crackles. Once dry I inked the edges with Frayed Burlap again. The paint makes the ink and other paint underneath bleed through, helping create a worn look.

I've tucked in a 7 Gypsies Tag for some colour, love these tags! Also a cute Maya Road Pin and a Jenni Bowlin Pin... added a Zva Crystal Swirl and used some fabulous Thickers for the title!
