This is gorgeous!! The pic is so touching an to know that this was the last one is so sad. You are right though, she is in a beautiful place with no pain or suffering.
At 1st glance, I thought this photo was stunning ~ I love the papers & colors & especially the peacock feather. Then I read the description & I don't have the words to describe what I feel when I see the beauty of this captivating layout. I am so very sorry for your friend's loss. I lost my husband on Oct. 2/08 but cannot for ANYTHING imagine the loss of a child. And THIS child sounds like she was quite the inspirational young lady.
Stunning page and Violet is an inspiration to us all knowing that she was doing something to help other children is a lesson for us all. She is in the arms of the angels now.
Beautifully designed and a very pretty LO. (Cancer took my brother last year and I found this story heart-wrenching. A 3K walk for a sick child - how courageous. This lovely LO will always be a reminder of her bravery and her beautiful spirit.) Hugs to her mom & family.
First -gorgeous and amazing page. As always. Wow - such emotion, touching journaling. Violets gift was to touch hearts - even heart of folks she did not know - such as ours. This, my friend, is an AMAZNG photo. Love how you kept Violet vibrant in the photo. In her final days, it sound as if Violet was selfless. Doing a 3k for charity - such caring for a little girl in pain.
Happy Birthday Dear Angel Violet. I am sorry for your loss and sooooo terribly sorry for the family of this brave, so very special sweet Angel. Smile down on us all Violet as we can all use a heavenly smile.
Charlotte this layout is so heartfelt and such a wonderful gift to Violets memory. I am so sorry for the pain you feel. She was a very beautiful little girl.
Stunning, heartwarming, and absolutely beautiful layout. I am so very sorry for the loss of your dear friend. My heart goes out to you and her family, and can only imagine yours and their heartache. You captured a touching moment and have created a gorgeous, ever-lasting memory of your sweet friend.
Such a beautiful layout and journaling! I know you miss her but I'm glad she is not in pain and suffering any more. It is so hard to watch a child suffer.
This is the last photo I had taken of Violet before she passed away. It just hit me that this is the last photo of her.... I remember this day so well, she was having a great day laughing, teasing and talking. On this day, Violet participated in the 3k walk for a fundraiser for Childhood Cancer. I just happen to have my camera and took this picture of Dalton embracing Violet. I remember as we were leaving the event Violet asked her big brother Dalton for a hug and wanted him to carry her to the car. I miss her so much and her birthday is approaching on 1/27/11, she would have been 8 years old. I miss her so much, I miss seeing her smiling face and hearing her roaring laugh. It is comforting to know violet is happy right now and she is no longer suffering, hurting or in pain.
