*CS* I agree with Carolyn. It's great that you chronicle everything from your dd life. Good or bad. Love the use of ribbons and eyelets. Might have to use your idea!
i love the look of this layout...the colors, the placement of your pictures and journaling and the ribbons! my only suggestion would be to maybe ink the edges of the photo mats...although i really like it without the ink too!
journaling: Winter 2005 – 2006 was so rough on our family in terms of illness. It seems like we went 3 months with one illness after another. Either you or ----- missed a day or more of school almost every single week from Thanksgiving until February break. In January both ----- and you came down with a nasty virus that hung around for nearly a week causing fever and loss of appetite. With this illness you missed 3 days of school – bracketing a weekend! You were so sick. I think you lived on Philly Swirl popsicles. Goodness knows we couldn't get you to eat any ‘real' food. Daddy even carried you around [the store] hoping something would tempt you… but nothing did. By the third day off from school your fever was gone but you were still a little grouch. When I sent you back to school I was tempted to write a note to the teachers warning them about your foul mood. But you must have been ready to go back. You had a good day.
