Card Swap, Baby
Bazzil Basics, Die Cut with View Matt Stack, Lasting Impressions brass template, Stampin up! Ink glorious Green, Creamy Caramel, Stampin up! Rubber stamps from kits mini mates & small script, stampin up Celery grosgrain ribbon, yellow button.
Techniques: dry emboss, distressing
Used a plastic template to dry emboss basket weave into the bazzill basics pale green paper. Added Medium brown Bazzill Basics strip to the left side of card. Which doesn’t show up very well in the picture. Distressed entire front of card edges with creamy caramel ink.
Dry Embossed bunny rabbit from white card stock & lightly gave him a little brownish/pink color to body and face. Cut feet and hands out and placed them on top of pop dots.
Egg is dry embossed from DCWV “Brights” mat stack. Sanded the embossing and lightly aged with creamy caramel.
Stamped “Welcome Baby!” on egg with Glorious green ink. “Joy” is also in same ink color.
Celery Green ribbon bow is placed on top of a yellow button.
I had tons of fun making this card. It is my first project ever using dry embossing. Got to use the light table DH gave me for Christmas!!!
