This layout is SOOOOO my son! Anyone who knows him knows that his passion for dirt is of monumental proportions!!!
Journaling (on pull out tag): when I first took this picture of Zachary, I saw a curious one year old beginning to really discover the world around him- but now, two years later, I realize that there was a lot more to it than that... now I can see that this is in fact the moment my little man fell in love for the very first time. Since this moment, his infatuation has only grwon stronger- in our yard, at family gatherings, at the babysitters, while we're camping, in sand or muc, potting soil or plain old dirt... Zach is an equal opportunity digger. This is his passion... his obession... his one true love...
Sponsor products used: Bazzill Basics cardstock (brown & white) Basic Grey patterned paper (all from the skate shoppe line) Scrapworks patterned paper (floral) Heidi Swapp chipboard letters (falling) Chipboard monograms ("Z")
Other products used: Making Memories Chipboard letters ("in" and the a, c, h in his name) Making Memories Paint Ranger Industries Distressed Ink (walnut stain) Daisy D's small tag D-ring, jump ring, brads (painted brown), pop dots and ribbon
note: the "love" in the title was hand-lettered and then cut out. I used a quick transfer technique so I could draw it correctly, and then transfer it backwards onto the back of my cardstock so there would be no pencil lines to erase. The layered paint and ink on the chipboard letters adds to the "dirty" look of the layout.
