Shadow Games

journalling reads:
The past year has been filled with one discovery after another. It has been a gift to watch it all happen. I don't know who was more delighted with the discovery of your shadow, you or me.
This was a quiet, early morning in your 9th month. I can tell because the bright, early morning sun is beaning through our front window, warming the floor. I spied you quietly leaning in to check out a familiar shape, touching it to see what it is, testing its every move, creating a game the process.
The shadow game captivated both of us on that sunny morning. A marvelous discovery for us.
