Journaling reads: One Saturday morning we woke up to about a foot of snow and a sunny sky, so Daddy and Kyla quickly took off with the sled. First they tried one hill, then another, and finally they settled on Red Cedar Street. It was their goal to make it all the way down the hill and around the corner. Steering was definitely a challenge!! I stood about half way down the hill with my camera. It melted my heart to see the two of them chatting and laughing together.... That's something that doesn't happen very often in our house since Kyla turned 12 and is now officially too cool for her Dad!!
Note to Kyla: you're never too old or too cool to have fun with your dad..... He loves you more than he could ever say!
