Every Christmas for my parents, I put together 2 photo albums with about 300 photos each, "highlighting" the year with photos. I buy the photo albums that have a slot for each photo to slide them in, and there's room to the side of each photo to write a brief caption "Our 2 girls on July 4th at the beach", etc. I make these monthly inserts at the beginning of the year, so that (theoretically) each month, I can just develop their pictures for the month, and add them after each month's insert. It's a way to "scrapbook" and make the album have one "color theme" but not have to make an entire scrapbook to hold 300 photos, because I just don't have the time for that, and I think they would rather have more photos than more scrapbooking. They love it and always show them to everyone. I just pulled out papers I love that were greens, purples and browns. My favorites were March and December. (see other pics in gallery for entire year of "inserts") TFL!
