This is my second pocket for Martica's denim pocket swap. I made this one for LaceyKat who is one of my partners. I know how she loves Victorian so I tried really hard to stay within that time frame. Yes, I got carried away with all the flowers but I couldn't seem to stop myself. They just kept jumping out of the drawers at me and I'd find a place to attach them. I was really trying to keep as much as the denim showing as possible because I really like seeing the pocket but whoa is me, it's not to be. If you look really close, you'll see that I actually attempted my first time at sewing paper. I stitched around the entire edgeing. I've added lots of lace, fringe, flowers and there are butterflies fluttering all over the place. A cute little bird is perched above her head and a tiny sign at the bottom of the lady says unique. Since I did Victorian I decided to add a tea cup to the inside of the pocket. It is decorated on both sides with flower, nature and lace. Thanks for taking a peek and for all the love you leave.
