what an awesome page!... thank you for sharing. I love how you used the surfboards as journaling space as well as the beautiful stamp! (me-running out to buy stamps NOW!)
SOOOOOO CUTE! I just want to pick her up and hug her! What a cutie pie! With her little knee bent she even looks like she is surfing. What a riot! Love the page too by the way. Sorry to go on and on about the baby and not your gorgeous page! The surf boards and lettering are awesome. And I love the color combo! Very cool. Makes me want to go to Hawaii right now! And I have never even been there!
This is my last entry for the contest. This was when we went to Kauai for my cousins wedding, and Bella's first trip to Hawaii. Bella was 15 months old and she didn't like the feel of the sand between her toes AT ALL so she just stayed on that boogie board practically the whole time we were at the beach. This was my favorite photo because she's just gazing out to the ocean. Keiki o`kai nalu means Child of the Surf or so I was told by my cousin who took 2 years of Hawaiian culture at Univ of Hawaii. So if that's not the right wording it's not my fault it's hers ;)
The journaling on the surfboard reads: Your very 1st Hawaii trip, Poipu Beach, June 29, 2003. You didn't like the feel of the sand between your toes! But you're still a beach babe.
