Give a Cheer
Group portrait and dress rehearsal pictures from Cassie's recital in 2009 -- this is her ballet class. They danced to the Marche from Giselle. I did this to match the single page LO I did previously for her individual portrait (http://www.scrapbook.com/myplace/index.php?mod=galleries&u=289551&m=view&id=2207999&type=-1&page=1&a=220817). I did 2 pagers for each of her 4 dances in the same general format. They are also located in my gallery (in Dance LO's and 2009 Album). I had 40-50 pictures from each dance, and this is what I weeded down to for this one -- some stage shots, some shots of her & her friends with their teacher, and a couple of the girls fluffing each other's tutus. I loved that costume :)
I included the name of the song/dance, the day & time the class was held, the teacher, the date of the pics, and the names of the kids in the class in the journaling box. Not everyone was there for the portrait so I included the names of the missing kids with N.P. for not pictured.
The black punched strip is flocked paper from Doodlebug & the red punched strip is actually a faux suede paper from Stampin' Up! that I got at a garage sale. Along the punched strips are 3 strands of Adornments fibers - 2 red and 1 black loosely braided. I cut the title on my Cricut with the Lyrical Letters cart. The journaling box is a stamp by Basic Grey. The white and black flowers are sewn on with gold sequins & seed beads for centers. I punched the small red flowers after first embossing them on a scrap of the red suede.
