Give a Cheer
Hi friends! I finally have the time to post a layout I made a little while ago. It has been a crazy week at work, but I can finally enjoy the calm after the storm. This is a layout I made for The Dusty Attic (http://dustyattic.ning.com/) using their new January 2011 Releases. I used the papers from this month's Swirlydoos kit to create this 'vintage' layout. The photo of me and my husband was taken in 2009 during one of my trips to Colombia. The title is from the song 'No One' by Alicia Keys. I had created a tag with a few lines of the lyrics, but I decided not to add it to my layout (because I ran out of space!). So I adhered it to the back of my layout. It reads:
"I know some people search the world

So 'til the end of time

Can get in the way of what I feel for you"
When people learned about my relationship with my (now) husband, they weren't too pleased for several reasons. First, we grew up in completely different cultures and environments, and second, we were separated by thousands of miles. Nonetheless, we overcame many obstacles and found a way to be together. :o)
