Give a Cheer
Made this Christmas Stocking using a template sent to me by my DT leader. Had to decorate and send back! It was supposed to represent us and have our name on it!
I love the colors brown and pink together. Don't get to use much pink or bling so when I can, I take advantage of it. The stamped image was supposed to either A) represent me as being naughty or B) represent me as being a disciplinaian (haha - to my kids of course). Truthfully, I like A better!
I covered the chipboard with paper then distressed ink. Then I embossed usign the cuttlebug then took more distress ink over the top of the raised image and around the edges. I added some bling and then did some handstitching at the toe. I then added the top of the stocking on and punched the bottom edge of it and handsewed the top.
The canvas was some scrap and I stamped a Greeting Farm stamp on it, colored it with copic markers and attached to the stocking. Then put the stick pin through for just the small added touch it needed to pull it all together.
