Caitie's March class assignment was to cut out the Shamrock and decorate it with her family. This was an extra-special project for her, because green is her favorite color and it's her Baby Sisters Birthday! Sadly, I had to tell Caitie that there was no green Dear Lizzy Ruffle Rose Ribbon (she's such a one trick pony...Ha!). But, I told her that I had white ribbon and that she could paint it green. We used the White Rose 1 Yard Dear Lizzy Ribbon by American Crafts. She cut out the shamrock and wrote her name on the back. Then, I helped her spread Mod Podge all over it and she laid pieces of the ribbon on it. Once it dried, I helped her trim off the excess ribbon. Then, I put it in a box and let her spray it with the glimmer mist. She had some trouble with the pump so I told her to use her thumb to squeeze it down. She had fun with it! And, I learned to share my awesome stuff. Ha! She brought it for her Show & Tell day and it will be on display at school for the holiday. Hope you all have a wonderful St. Patrick's Day!
