It started raining before we got there so we had to leave the upper deck and go downstairs which was disappointing. Once there we first found a place for lunch and we wanted Fish and Chips again! (We had them in the food court of the Queen Victoria Building yesterday) We found a place called the “Fish House” and both the fish and the chips were perfect! By now it had quit raining but the drizzling was off and on all afternoon.
We didn't want to “rent” a towel in the hotel so we purchased a big beach towel in one of the touristy shops at Bondi Beach for less than it would have been to rent 2 towels (and it gave us another souvenir to take home). I told Bill I wanted to start picking up nice beach towels from beach cities around the world to put in our guest house for people to use when they come out of the pool. We both agreed this would be the first towel in a guest-house collection.
We fed the leftover chips (fries in the USA) to the seagulls and pigeons – they had given us way too many at the Fish House.
