What I was trying to accomplish here ,and don't quite feel it, is to bring the focus to Emily by using the colors in her dress for the layout. I am thinking, looking at it, that I should have ran the purple ribbon across the pictures rather than the red. Not sure. It turned out beautifully otherwise, but I just didn't accomplish quite what I was trying to do.
It amazes me how you do it. I could never do it; but, without fear, for the 2nd year in a row, YOU DO IT !!!
Up in front of the entire school and the parents that have come, you walk to sing your song. Last year, it was “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star”. This year is was “This One’s for the Girls”.
I remember hearing you pick the song. You rushed upstairs to your room with the CD. A few minutes later, the song could be heard from your CD player. When the song was over, you rushed back down the stairs with it in your hand saying to yourself that this is the one - I know all the words. I saw you put it in your backpack for school. To you, it was that simple - “I know all the words.”
You are so beautiful and amazing and talented and brave. You believe in yourself without the realization of it or the understanding of how wonderful it is that you do.
We are so proud of you, Emily.
believe in your abilities imagine you're invincible believe in your dreams imagine good in everyone believe in yourself imagine great adventures believe in miracles imagine greatness believe in others imagine opportunities
This last part I scraplifted part from a LO I saw in November. I am sorry I don't remember whose or I would give credit.
