Just a quick layout of two of my dgs on their first horseback ride in 2006. I used Scenic Route paper and some green cardstock. I cut the photos all the same size then cut ppr sized to match and laid the photos in a grid with the pprs. I rounded just the corner pieces of the grid. I cut the horse and the cowboy boot with the Silhouette and used my Copic markers to color and highlight them. The spur on the boot was colored with a silver pen. Title letters are rubons and thickers. I added a little faux stitching with a white and black pen around the grid. Then after looking at it for a while, I decided that it need something else and added handwritten journaling and a lariat made from some jute cord. Journaling reads:
Adam and Allen on their first horseback ride during a visit to Uncle Glenn's house. You were both so little, but you were not the least bit afraid of the horse. Galen and Morgan kept trying to hold on to you two but you thought you could ride without any help. You two sure had a good time that day! May 28, 2006
