First and only 12x12 LO I've done of my daughter. She was 4 yrs old in the photo and is now 22 and due to get married in two months. I printed the small photo onto vellum and colored on the backside with watercolor pencils and a blender pen. I used scrappy tape and pink micro beads to frame the small photo. The "tag" was made with paper clay and a fireweed stamp and colored in with chalks and blender pen. Title is a rub on.

Hidden journaling reads: "When I think of Jen in her preschool years, this is how I picture her - giggling, joyful - full of sunshine. From infancy, one of my nicknames for her has been 'Sunshine Girl.' On this particular day, our family was in Eagle River in the parking lot of the Harry McDonald Sports Center, setting off fireworks in honor of Independence Day. It was our last summer together as an immediate family - four months later, the kids' dad would walk away from us permanently. This then - the summer of 1988 - was the summer of joy, the summer of innocence. And this giggling little bundle of joyful, innocent sunshine is how I'll always remember my Jenny at that age. What I wouldn't give for her to experience that joy and innocence again... "
