This is me when I first enlisted in the US Air Force in 1979, before I'd earned any stripes but did have a rope. I journaled on vellum about my Drum & Bugle days in the Air Force. It's the first time I've used vellum. I hoped it would have been more transparent. I also used staples for the first time and it's the first time I made this sort of flower. I used distress ink on the wooden letters and also distressed the edges. I lifted my own Day Tripper LO for this for the 3-12 AGC daily challenge.
