My Roses

One of the worst things about moving was leaving my rose and lilac bushes, and when we first moved into our current house, it took a couple years before we had the backyard ready to plant where we wanted. So these are pics from 2007 the first summer I had roses here. I wrote the names of the varieties near each photo: Fragrant Keepsake, 2 shots of Double Delight, Bella Roma, Black Magic, 2 shots of Color Me Pink, John F Kennedy, Gemini, and Moon Shadow. The quote in the upper right says It's the little things that make life beautiful. -Unknown

I used the March Monthly Sketch Challenge Week 1 bonus sketch for this one, and I did the twist, which was flowers.

Done for the March Use Your Supplies Challenge Week 2: Grow Grow Grow. We had to have at least 2 of the following:
at least 3 flowers: I have 10 photos of flowers and 12 stickers.
at least 5 leaves: There are 16 leaves on the stickers.
at least 2 birds: This I don't have unless you call ladybugs 'ladybirds.' LOL
at least 1 butterfly: I have one.
at least 1 bumblebee: I have one.
The twist was to use at least 2 pastel colors: I have the pastel yellow bg, the pink journaling box, and lavender thread for the machine stitching.
