That is probably one of the sweetest stories I've ever heard -- I hope you include that as journaling somewhere even if it's on the back. Beautiful LO and photo -- she looks like she's on the Red Carpet!
This is my take on week 3 of the March sketch challenge. I included the twist using the black fabric print, the gold lace trim, the gold ribbon on the bottom, and the waxed twine bow in the upper corner. I titled this "his love" as this is a copy of my mother from the 1940's that my father had tucked away in his wallet until he died 5-6 years ago. He never showed it to anyone until the end, he gave it to my youngest sister. I should probably add too, my mother passed away in 1976. My dad wasn't the kind to give flowers or any other mushy thing and I just find this so romantic he kept that picture. I just love this picture, she looks so regal!
