I thank Robin Shakoor for the inspiration for this LO:

For this version, I basically flipped her version on it's side and added journaling. The back ground is shiny black CS. I didn't like the color of the poles so I made both photos B&W and then added color back to Rusty and to my top. The epoxy brad with the silver frame in the upper left hand corner says "My Girl".

Journaling: The agility trials in Central Point Oregon take place in a huge horse arena, thus making photography difficult. With the help of a steady hand and a fast lens though, Fred was able to get some nice shots of the shelties in the weave poles. I love the intent they carry into the ring whenever they run and how their feet kick up little clouds of dirt. These pictures inspire me to be the best handler I can possibly be for Rusty and Flash because they work so very hard for me each and every time we run an agility course.

On this weekend, Rusty's performance was spectacular, qualifying in 3 out of 4 runs with a third place finish in one of them. Her qualifying Jumpers run on Saturday allowed her to finish her MXJ title and coincidently to bring home her second QQ ribbon of her career. She was well on her way to becoming and AKC champion. Having her dad there made it extra special.
