Journaling; Adopting an almost 3 year old dog is not without challenges. Yet, your family was ready for the job. I (Mema) was so surprised when Doug called to say, "Did you see the ad for the sheepdog in the paper?" I said, "Yes, I asked your Dad if we could go get it and he said no." (Rum and I agreed-no more dogs after Corkey)
Well, I'm glad you went and got him. He is so cute and will be a great family dog. As of right now 3/23/11 he has some things to learn. Ozzie thinks he is the alpha of the family. As part of his training, you are making him wait until everyone else goes out the door. He also has to sit and wait until Van releases him to his food.
Ozzie loved the snow. He also loves Doug. You can tell how joyous Ozzie is to have Doug play with him.
