Love this and I love love love those Echo Park papers! Love the road and the little characters on it! Great addition to this page. Love the tire brads as well, so cute! :) The journaled conversation cracks me up! I remember this day! So fiun! And way to go Sarah beating the boys! Love that checkered border you doodled as well, great touch! Love it all, to my faves!
I love this! My DH and the kids play this game, too. I never thought to do a layout of it. Love the quotes. Great job with the road and the mario characters.
I caught this one as I was waiting for the next gallery page to load and had to go back. This layout is by far one of the best Mario layouts I have seen. I love your road and the border, I am so awed by the talent that went into creating those two things. This is going into my favs.
What a clever idea for a layout! Love the bright colours and the way that you included parts of the conversation. The road running through the layout is absolutely adorable!
This is just soo cute! Great idea to print out the characters- love the little road you made! These papers were so perfect for this! Fabulous design, title work, doodling!! And the journaling is so fun- glad Andrea was able to write all that down! Fantastic work!
It's not very often that my four children (20-26 now) get the opportunity to sit down and play a game together. Someone's always at work or school (and one lives out of town). So, I was happy to see them all playing Nintendo together last July. Adam's wife, Andrea, sat back and watched them, took some pics, and took notes on what they were all saying. I've journaled part of their conversation on the page, using color coding for each person's statements. In the end, Sarah won the game!
The pps are Echo Park Sweet Summertime. The red/white border is hand doodled. The "road" is cut by hand and doodled. The tires are little brads. The red letters are felt Thickers and the black are Am. Crafts rub ons. The Mario figures were found online and printed out and cut by hand and pop dotted on the road. The edges of the photos were sanded. The edges of the teal are inked with black. The layout design is based on a PageMaps sketch. Thanks so much for looking!!!
