This is a journaling page for layout #5.

I don’t have many of these because she doesn’t speak English. Hopefully they can translate. I did some things I’ve never done. I’m slowly broadening my horizons. I bought a rule kit that had the half circle “ruler”. I just happened to be 6 inches wide so I used that for the half circle. I added a row of small gems on the outside. Then I took strips of paper that I cut with my Cricut Fabulous Finds cartridge. They measure 0.25 inch wide and 1.5 long. Then I folded them in half and used glossy accents to glue the ends together. I adhered them to the page with the same. I added a row of pink fake flowers and added a gem in each of the centers. Then I took a “brackets” clear stamp. I purposely used Distress Ink, Peeled Paint, because I didn’t want the ink to show up to well. You see Distress Inks are water based and because of that it will “bead” on the acrylic stamps. What I wanted to do was to stamp it then outline it with a white pen. Then color the stamped image in. So I took the distress ink and rubbed it on the acrylic block, sprayed it with water and mix together. Then I took a water-pen and colored in the bracket. I also did the same on page 8.

The notebook paper was from HobbyLobby
