For a babyshower gift, I bought personalized pens with the baby's name and "It's a Girl." I bought the small legal pads at Office Max, used a peice of double sided tape to put ribbon and scrapbook borders on the top of the pad. I then printed "It's a girl" in pink paper and glued that to the first page of the pad. I put baby footprint stickers to embelish. I then used double sided tape to attach matching ribbon to the pad. I then stuck the pen in the ribbon. I also strung hot pink pacifiers in the middle of the bow on the front page. Next time I make these, I would like to use paper that is not lined, and I would like to glue a magnet on the back of the pad. The ideas are endless!
