I want to convince you that pearls go beautifully also with "industrial baroque" style wich I love so much. Here is my creation: a notebook called "the Black Pearl". This time I picked really dark, tonned colors and a grungy set of embellishments, put on the covers in a way I adore. Somewhere among the "rubbish" I hid the title: "Art is life". One of the elements I chose for the cover were the pearls - situated just next to heavy, everyday objects and colored a bit with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists. I love the effect of confronting common, plain embellishments with elegant and sophisticaded ones - like perals or flowers. Perals are like real ladies - they feel great in this "company" and show us the possibilities of mixing these two worlds without hesistaton. I just love the final effect!
