What a beautiful tribute! I love the dark feel for this dark period. What a horrible time this was! I did a LO of my GGrandfathers family who perished in the Holocaust, and then last Sept. I my a 2 page LO of my Mom's travel back to Poland visiting the streets her grandfather grew up. I still need to scrap her visit to the Auschwitz camp. Your LO is very moving & inspiring. Going into my FAVS!!! Thank you so much for sharing this!
Today the second layout made about Dachau in southern Germany. I have the same paper as my previous layout of Dachau. The paper is from Paper Loft series "Now and Them", which I really like this layout. The small pictures below I have pasted a framework. This framework came from a memory game where the cards were based. I did it and then painted with black tinverf embossingspoeder edited. To this framework, I used wire, barbed wire black wire imitated what symbolizes the captivity. I tore the paper for me symbolizes the torn lives of the camp prisoners. Top left, I used five black brads, it stands for the five years of black history. The letters that I used for the lyrics by Tim Holtz, tres diss else uses black ink from Tim Holtz, Black Magic Mash. The background of this layout is black 'Dots Bo Bunny Paper "black thing I've worked with gesso and then with a mask of barbed wire have labeled. I also have here and there a sentiment that says: "Take time to stop and give the opportunity to repent." What is appropriate for this topic. I left the flower made of ribbon I got stuck on the new Glubers Cosmo Criket just look at this link for instructions: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tNvFRdhXAZY
